I have never been to Navoo! I think I'm the only mormon to claim that (me and my hubby I suppose). Thanks for all the updates!
I LOVE Nauvoo (what something I have done that Shellie hasn't, hahaha). We were there and stood on the grounds where the temple HAD been right before they announced they were going to rebuild it. I remember feeling so sad that something that beautiful and something so many people had sacrificed so much for had been lost. When they announced they were going to rebuild it, I can't tell you how excited I was. I don't know why once you go to Nauvoo that it becomes so personal to you, but it does. Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures. And by the way, Happy Birthday Doug!
Shellie is not the only one. My parents went without us and took Elizabeth and Christine while I was in college. SOMEDAY.
Thanks for all the travel laughs :) I still can't believe you stayed in that motel! Doug's cake is so cute, I can't believe you made it! Way to go Martha... :)
